BESIX
BESIX is building the future in an office that reflects its identity
For the fit-out of its new office in Ghent, BESIX chose a working environment that visibly reflects its DNA as a leading construction company. Colliers Belgium was responsible for the complete workplace advisory, interior design and Design & Build delivery of the project. Pami supported the project with ergonomic, high-quality furniture solutions that seamlessly complement Colliers’ interior concept.
In addition, Pami delivered several bespoke solutions designed to reinforce BESIX’s identity. A striking example is the meeting tables incorporating a steel beam. This distinctive structural element directly references the construction industry and serves as a subtle nod to BESIX’s expertise and heritage. In this way, the company’s construction identity is expressed not only through the architecture and material choices, but also through the interior furnishings themselves.
An interior inspired by the construction industry
The design is rooted in BESIX’s own history and expertise. Industrial materials such as steel, concrete and exposed structural elements form the foundation of the interior concept. This robust aesthetic is softened by warm timber accents, comfortable fabrics and carefully selected furniture. Innovative and sustainable materials were also chosen to contribute to a timeless and future-focused working environment. The result is a contemporary workplace that feels both professional and welcoming.
By combining standard and bespoke furniture, an environment was created in which functionality, ergonomics and branding come together seamlessly.
Designed for hybrid working
The approximately 900 m² office has been designed to support different ways of working as effectively as possible. A clear balance has been established between areas for focused work and spaces that encourage interaction, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The working environment gives employees the flexibility to move easily between individual tasks, meetings and informal interactions. The result is a workplace that is not only highly functional but also contributes to wellbeing, engagement and productivity.
Furniture in service of the overall concept
Within the design developed by Colliers, Pami supplied the office furniture that helps shape the day-to-day user experience. The selected solutions support both ergonomic working practices and the desired look and feel of the office: modern, sustainable and future-oriented.
Thanks to the strong collaboration between BESIX, Colliers Belgium and Pami, an inspiring working environment has been created that perfectly reflects BESIX’s identity, culture and ambitions.
